Conditional Love

If there were a blog devoted to conditionals, no one would read it.

If students were required to post once a week, none would.

The Reading List

Greetings,

Let's set the reading list and try to discover a time when we can all meet.

First, the readings.

1. Jackson, F. (1987) Conditionals, Basil Blackwell: New York.
2. Bennett, J. (2003) A Philosophical Guide to Conditionals, Clarendon: Oxford.
3. TBA Papers by D. Lewis, R. Stalnaker, etc.

Second, if you are in the reading group, post a time to meet as a comment. We'll see whether we can find a time that fits everyone's schedule.

Tues or Wed Evenings are best for me (i.e., after 5pm) ... or Sat afternoons. But I won't be attending for credit so if you guys decide on something else, then you ought to take precedence.

After 7pm on M, T, or W is fine. On TR or F, after noon. Any time on F, SA, or SU. I could perhaps change some of this if there's a problem. The only thing I can't change is a summer class--every week day, 9:30 am - 11:20.

I don't like the mornings.
